🏒 EIHL 1-Day Tournament Announcement 🏒

We’re back again with our 1-day tournament — fast-paced, competitive, and a great day of hockey. Information on this website, the message board and Instagram coming soon.

📋 Format

• 4 Team Captains confirmed (Islanders, Red Army, Redwings and Knights)
• Round Robin (3 games per team) + Playoffs
• Playoffs Structure:
  • 1st place → Bye to Finals
  • 2nd vs 3rd → Semi-Final
  • 4th place → Eliminated

👥 Rosters

• Draft format (to be completed quickly once the player list is finalized)
• Max draft pool: 40 players + 4 captains
• Team size: 11 players per team (including captain)

⏱ Game Format

• Two 10-minute periods with last 2 minutes are stop time (if within 3 goals)
• All penalties are stop time
  • Minor: 1 minute / Major: 2 minutes (final details to be confirmed)
• Max games in a day: 5 / Minimum guaranteed: 3 games per team

💰 Entry & Donations

• $25 entry fee per player
  • $15 per player will be donated to the Sikh Heritage Museum of Canada

🕒 Schedule

• Games begin at 10:30 AM / 11:00 AM
• Tournament wraps up by 4:00 PM (likely earlier)
• 30-minute time slots per game
• We will be introducing a kids “exhibition game” features younger kids of the current players.  Details to be announced soon.
